360 Soccer Training Mission Statement

“To significantly impact the game of soccer in the U.S. by connecting the world through a state of the art training system.”

About the name 360 Soccer Training – in the game of soccer the best teams in the world, utilize the whole field to maintain possession of the ball until a scoring opportunity arises. Unlike the sport of basketball, where play is vertical, up and down a basketball court, great soccer teams utilize the whole field, to maintain possession. The ball is passed forward, backwards, diagonally, and across the field of play. The greatest players are fully aware of where their teammates are on the field, what is in front of them, what is behind them and where the open space is. The name 360 represents the concept of utilizing the whole field in any direction to maintain possession. Additionally, the name 360 represents developing the whole player in the 4 Key Areas of soccer player development: Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Mental. Lastly, we utilized the globe as the zero in 360 to represent the world as one large playing league.

By utilizing the latest technology in Auto –Feed Goal systems from Accelerated Training Systems we will be able to focus on significantly improving a soccer player’s technical ability. Repetition is the key to improving technique and muscle memory. By providing a consistent service to a player, coaches can focus on analyzing and correcting technique, rather than tracking down errant balls.  With repetition, comes improved “first touch”, the ability to properly receive any ball, maintain possession or quickly shoot on goal.

The 360 Training staff believes that our focus must be on improving technical ability. To that end, we will offer Futsal Leagues to our players. Futsal is the only indoor game sanctioned by FIFA. If skills development is important, Futsal is recognized as clearly the best form of indoor soccer. But that's not the only reason.

· Better Skills Development - Futsal promotes quality touches

· Safer - Futsal eliminates the injuries associated with wall collisions

· Less Expensive - Futsal makes quality soccer more affordable

FIFA says Futsal is better. US Soccer & USYSA says Futsal is better. And the Brazilians are among the many nations that swear by it. Pele, Renaldo and Bebeto all credit Futsal for much of their skill and technique development. All the major heads of US Soccer and FIFA declared that this is the way to go. Once you experience Futsal, you will see the reasons.

360 Soccer will offer the Light Game. A fast paced, 4 vs. 4 game that relies on a players ability to pass, receive, and quickly shoot on 1 of up to 6 target goals. Every player has the opportunity to score and the game teaches that communication, ball control and shooting skills are very important. All of which, can be easily translated to the outdoor game.
